Macho, I rarely disagree with you on here but I just don’t agree. “Manny’s disaster” has exploded into something much worse it seems. After a 14 point loss (which is arguably a worse, much worse loss than the FIU loss) where do you even see wins coming from on the rest of the schedule? We could really be looking at a 3 or 4 win team this year. The way this team has played we would be lucky to get a 6 win. It’s hard to see any improvement in any phase of the game, any player, any position, mentality, toughness, everything looks like a regression.
 
I’ll agree we have a mess on our hands at Miami but ya’ll pumping up FSU are a bunch of turncoats. Stop that or go get yourself some garnet and gold glitter. SMH

90% of this board is completely unreasonable. 18 years of rotten culture, mediocrity, and a bad roster, and they’re convinced we’ll turn it around in year 1.

As for FSU, they’re doing something they haven’t in a long time, win the games they should. That’s a credit to their coaching staff. They’ve got a rough three game stretch coming up, though. They could very well be 4-3 going into Week 8. We’ll see what happens, as they’re going to get a big step up in competition (they’ve beaten three bad teams at this point; LSU looks like a good win right now). If we played next week, I think they’d be favored. Luckily, we won’t for awhile and we’ve got some time to figure things out.
 
I dunno, we’re about to find out in the next month or so if the Criminoles are legit or
not. They still haven’t played a ranked team but coming up they have Wake, Clemson, NC State, Miami, Florida, so we’ll see.

They’re getting into the real tough stretch of their schedule. As for our game, TBD. In usual Miami-FSU fashion, it’ll be a nail biter. We had a winning streak going into Doak last year and we’re supposed to win that game convincingly. They sucked, but came out with the W. Too early to say what happens.
 
No doubt FSU is much improved and clearly playing inspired but they’ve beaten nothing but JAGaloon squads. No way they run the table vs Wake, NCState, and Clemson. Going 1/3 there would be good for them. But at this point there’s no doubt we’re gonna lose to them unless we show massive improvement over the course of October.

You do make a great point about the vast overreacting that takes place around here as the norm. However, I will admit they are playing light years better than what they have been and look way better prepared, motivated, and performing above our canes. They would likely embarrass us if we played them next week. Very concerning dynamic at the moment based upon available evidence

I think its pretty obvious that Manny almost encouraged this type of behaviour between players.
You're closer, but you tell me this, Manny did his thing while under Richt and was almost treating his defense with a completely different element of culture from the offense. Guy gets hired to be HC and then immediately says, and I'm paraphrasing, We'll bring that energy or attitude over to the offense.
Isn't that just the biggest red flag of someone undermining his employer and was trying to break down Richt while working for him to get his job?
Maybe I'm crazy, but Manny ain't the smartest guy in the room as he likes to think, he's just a sociopath. Good luck James Franklin.

This board isn’t reasonable. I’m also convinced that half the people on here savor when we lose. They’re so used to it, and it’s one mediocre thing in their life they’re not actually responsible for.

It’s always the extreme here. Imho this was always a long term rebuild. 18 years of mediocrity and rot isn’t changed overnight. We need to stack talent to turn things around. You’re gonna see a complete 180 on this board if we beat UNC in two weeks. Lots of games left to play.
 
D**K riding FSU. That's a new low. Then again, I'm not shocked, a lot of the "Fans" on this site are trash, so they belong with those native american cosplayers. Deuces.
