Kinda off topic but many games were traditionally on the 3rd Saturday in October close to my birthday on the 18th. I either had a great birthday gift when we kicked their *** or a miserable one when we lost.
 
I’m not obsessed with FSU the way a lot of people are on this board but we just gotta weather the early minutes

Norvell seems to be pretty elite at scripted drives

I skipped last years game for the first time in my life

Won’t do it again this year but we will see how long it lasts

If we go 3 and out on our first drive after what we seen last week…. Pack it up!

Wide left was the year before. We had THREE future all American defenders hanging off of Greg Jones that game when he was trucking like the Juggernaut.

least excited ive ever been for miami fsu. just get this season over with.

You right!! I was talking about the Bobby Bowden dance lol .
Greg Jones was a Tank!!
 
Norvell os gonna try to gas our defense with qb runs and rpo’s.

He might even go power up tempo the way unc did.

But the reality is that our offense isn’t scaring fsu into a low scoring drawn out game.

They can afford to take chances on both sides that we can’t.
No p5 program should be scared of turning the ball over because we’ve shown that we can’t score even when gifted a short field.

We’ve had momentum swinging defensive plays the past several weeks and haven’t been able to capitalize or continue the momentum.

It’s gotten two bad that last Saturday I didn’t even get happy when we recovered that fumble or cam had that interception.

Yea I think we all are emotionally exhausted! I think we all just want to see a team with some fight !! I don’t know where that team is that beat A&M but this would be a great time for them to reappear!
 
Look, I know things look bleak, but FSU should of lost to BC. Anything can happen in college football especially in a rivalry like this one. Just need a QB who can hit an open man down field...

I hope Emory starts and they have a couple zone reads for Jacurri (a man can dream).

What was was what is is. This ain’t close to that great rivalry. We gettin rolled. Unless of course there’s Devine intervention.

I usually feel that way during the week but the closer to the game I keep it in perspective

I give us about a 1% chance to win but crazier **** happens

It’s part of why I can’t stand the people who get on a soapbox around here about lowering expectations

It’s like yeah after 20 years I’ve changed what I expect and get excited about. IDGAF
 
You know those teams who are inexplicably confident in themselves after an embarrassing loss? You know, the ones who come up with aggressive game plans and look for any competitive edge they can find. Teams that set the tone early that they are in it for 60 minutes.

Well, guess what?!?! Those are our opponents weekly in the ACC. We ourselves do the exact opposite.
