haven't been to the theater to watch a movie since Top Gun and I'm almost 40. Still can't figure out why movie theaters still exist.

I hate Hollywood. Don't want to patronize those ********. Too much money and always lecturing us on how to live our livesSame here at 64, I very seldom go... haven't been in a couple of years. I go ******* ballistic when around me people are rudely talking away during a movie. Very close to fighting several times.
Thanks for listing the other reasons that I prefer to watch movies at home. But if you don't mind the talking, people crossing in front, babies, not being able to pause to pee or get food/drink or fart... then knock yourself out.LMAO at this thread. Bunch of dudes hurt because people don't like going to the movies (I'm on their side) and people saying you "can't replicate" the experience at home.
Going to the movies is spending $20 per person just to see something before it's released to home audiences. And then you sacrifice zero privacy and no ability to press pause and take a leak or eat whatever you want. People talking, cell phones ringing, kids crying and have fun finding a decent seat. So more money and a ton of inconvenience just because you can't be a little patient. It's insane to me.
The only thing you're not going to get at home (most likely) if you know what you're doing is the projector. A decent receiver, some good speakers and a 7.1+ setup is infinitely better because your proximity to the speakers is much, much closer. IMO a high end projector nowadays isn't all that much better than a mid-tier LED.

Suburban teenagers still need a private place to finger bang thots while getting head.
Except this time there's no safe word. They really need to be watching Fifty Shades of Grey.
Because we'll dominate their ***.
It’s alright actuallyI heard Venom sucked too. **** em.

I actually enjoy theaters much more now than when I was a kid. They all have assigned seating now. Big, comfortable reclining seats with trays for food and drinks. Nobody sitting right next to you where you're bumping arms. You can even get beers or drinks at the bar now. Movie theater experience is a billion times better now than it was even ten years ago.
Lmfao you guys are all like whiny old ladies.I hate Hollywood. Don't want to patronize those ********. Too much money and always lecturing us on how to live our lives
Why are we stalking the FSU team?
