Don't think they let him walk. But FSU fans were trying to convince us and themselves that Willie was going to recruit better and perform better than Jimbo as a coach.

The problem for Willie is he doesn't deserve a grace period. Fisher had top 5 classes every cycle outside of the transition year (where they were top 15). That roster's ready to win now. But he'll stumble into a 7-8 win season. And that'll be the problem for them.

Thoroughly impressed by Fuente and Vatech. This is well coached team in every way(yeah, going for it on the 1 yard line with a chance to go up 3 scores could be questioned, but still) but overall, what a well played game by them. Really great control of field position(yeah, having a punter helps) and playing smart, physical football and a serviceable QB

Love Fuente's system, it's not overly complicated but it gets the ball into his playmakers hands consistently and the eye candy creates running lanes
