If FSU didn’t score on that play, the refs would have made up some penalty to give FSU yet another play.

Not seeing what you all are seeing. I thought UVAs Qb played well. Took the quick shots the defense gave him. Can run. Hit the corner route for a TD. I think he's gonna be a nightmare for us. That said , no idea why FSU didn't run more at the end

They would have reviewed the play. They'd say, "The ball carrier's knee hit the ground, but the ball, at the molecular level, was not touching his hands when his knee his the ground. Therefore, it is a touchdown."
