FSU vs LSU tonight

Kelly and his staph corched LSU to a loss.

He should have removed Daniels from the game by the second quarter and given the other kid a chance. The Holes were crowding the line all night and using a spy on Daniels. They were not respecting the deep and intermediate passing game.

On D, LSU played too much off man all night. They should have been playing bump-and-run coverage to disrupt the Holes WR’s routes, and throw off the timing of Travis. He is not a rhythm passer. He is dangerous when improvising. They gave him way too much space to find receivers.

LSU also had terrible ST play, as we all witnessed. It’s hard to believe that with as poorly as the Tigers played, they still had a chance to tie the game late. Kid fielding punts has hands of stone. 2 muffed punts in critical situations did them in.

The Holes DL looked really good, but it’s hard to judge them fairly due to the fact that LSU was starting a FR at LT, and their line looked hella bad. We’ll get a better barometer of their level when they play some squads that can actually push the ball down the field on them.

They did a good job of using lots of motion and gimmicky formations and plays to move the ball. But as we all witnessed with Danny Miaz’s defense, eventually the gimmicks don’t work when you’re facing well coached teams with greater talent. I suspect that in the next couple of games they’re going to get punched in the mouth and brought back down to earth. They’re gonna believe the hype and get rolled by someone.
Daniels wasn't the problem.

The LSU offensive line is terrible. If you listened to Greg McElroy, he said no QB can complete a pass even to a wide open WR if he can't set his feet. He said Daniels was not given time to throw which is why you saw him scramble so much. He questioned how LSU's offensive line depth had gotten so bad.

McElroy pointed out that LSU has a guy playing center out of position and 2 FCS transfer lineman starting that don't look the part.

To most fans it's the QB that is the problem. We only see the WR open and the bad pass. We don't pay attention to whether the QB has a clean pocket.

I agree on the FSU assessment. They are better than last year, but that was the worst LSU team I've ever seen. Forget that it was LSU. That was some bad football regardless of the team.

FSU played so much better than LSU, yet only won by a point.

FSU fans will be on a sugar high from all the kool-aid they're drinking. Their team will have confidence after the win and that may be good or bad. Playing with confidence is half the battle. However, thinking you're better than what you are can be a shock to the system when a better team crushes you like Georgia did Oregon.

Ahh Cribs. Yeah we get it. Booty Cheeks. Even one of our most beloved posters can get written up. No favoritism here. Even Chris Rock told a bad joke every now and again. Would have let this slide in the offseason. We are in season now. Need to tighten up. 10 minutes in the box with no CIS.

Officer @PIPO Good eye.

Or maybe it was my comedic genius telling a bad joke on purpose. Norm Macdonald like.

FSU has improved, and LSU is a 6-6 type team can both be true. LSU had a true frosh LT, a FIU transfer at LG, and a new C who had snap issues. LSU dominant 5 star DT went out on first drive from knee injury.

LSU lost 4 points from a bad snap, and 4 points on two blocked kicks, and dropped 2 punts deep in their own territory and lost by 1.
