FSU vs LSU tonight

If I was an Alabama fan I wouldn't be on this site to begin with.
If you scrolled down my post.

LSU is not a good team. They’re 2-3 years away from being elite, if the Kelly regimen works down south. Some other observations:

-Jordan Travis has improved. Made some nice passes. Reminds me of Malik’s improvement from 2016 to 2017. Noticeable and better, but not gonna be enough against good enough D’s.

-Verse is a beast, and FSU has some solid players on that DL.

-FSU is still an extremely undisciplined team. 80 yds of penalties on the night.

-Their offense needs to be extremely gimmicky to get things going.

-Their run game is below average, and their RB’s aren’t anything special. 3.5 YPC on 38 attempts.

-Stop Travis and you stop FSU. Travis accounted for 74% of their offensive production tonight. 291 yds out of the 392 they had overall came from him.

-Ontaria Wilson is their only receiver that looked the part. He’s inconsistent though, and has disappeared for games at a time in years past.

-FSU’s secondary is a liability. They’re gonna lose games because they won’t be able to stop the pass.

-FSU came within a yard of coming out with a solid 31-17 win against LSU. Instead, they made a boneheaded play call, fumbled at the 1-yd line, and let LSU drive 99 yds to score. This, after LSU scored in the previous drive. Lady Luck bailed them out in the end.

Overall, this *looks like* a better FSU team than last year at the least. A win is a win. However, this is an LSU team that’ll be lucky to win 6 games this year. Additionally, FSU came within a hair of blowing this. Better team, sure. Better than an 8 win team? Not likely. Still see 4-5 losses on that schedule.

Booty should marry Maurice Cheeks son
Ahh Cribs. Yeah we get it. Booty Cheeks. Even one of our most beloved posters can get written up. No favoritism here. Even Chris Rock told a bad joke every now and again. Would have let this slide in the offseason. We are in season now. Need to tighten up. 10 minutes in the box with no CIS.

Officer @PIPO Good eye.

Kelly and his staph corched LSU to a loss.

He should have removed Daniels from the game by the second quarter and given the other kid a chance. The Holes were crowding the line all night and using a spy on Daniels. They were not respecting the deep and intermediate passing game.

On D, LSU played too much off man all night. They should have been playing bump-and-run coverage to disrupt the Holes WR’s routes, and throw off the timing of Travis. He is not a rhythm passer. He is dangerous when improvising. They gave him way too much space to find receivers.

LSU also had terrible ST play, as we all witnessed. It’s hard to believe that with as poorly as the Tigers played, they still had a chance to tie the game late. Kid fielding punts has hands of stone. 2 muffed punts in critical situations did them in.

The Holes DL looked really good, but it’s hard to judge them fairly due to the fact that LSU was starting a FR at LT, and their line looked hella bad. We’ll get a better barometer of their level when they play some squads that can actually push the ball down the field on them.

They did a good job of using lots of motion and gimmicky formations and plays to move the ball. But as we all witnessed with Danny Miaz’s defense, eventually the gimmicks don’t work when you’re facing well coached teams with greater talent. I suspect that in the next couple of games they’re going to get punched in the mouth and brought back down to earth. They’re gonna believe the hype and get rolled by someone.
