FSU vs Georgia Tech

Which year(s) where you on the sub. My buddy was a lieutenant between 76-79, but I don't remember which sub.
2002-2006. ET3-ET2(SS). I made ET1(SS) when I went to shore duty. ****ed my ETC off to no end because he hated me. Mostly because I knew my job too well and made him look like a dumb ***.

Also, my Commo (Communications Officer) is possibly the COOLEST officer I have ever worked with/for. He actually wanted to learn his job as a JO. He moved on to be an XO and a CO. I ran into him at Naval Submarine School New London when I became an instructor. He was a senior officer, but I did address him as Commo, salute him (to get the formalities out of the way), and then shook his hand. We talked like to normal guys and went to dinner and I met his now wife.

To this day, I still call and address him as "Commo".

My son-in-law is an FSU grad but is a hardcore Gator fan... a complete psycho.
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot.

Someone posted on their boards that DJ had an atrocious scrimmage in Jacksonville and everyone dismissed it because he had the location wrong after they moved because of weather. Norvell is 100% protecting DJ after what he has seen all camp. Even the balls that were caught were bad throws that the receiver had to adjust to.

DJ Uiagalelei had 5 completions at 10+ yards downfield vs GT, more than any FSU QB had in a game in 2023.

That stat above is unbelievable! How did that team win 13 games?
Turnover differential. Travis threw only 2 INTs. They had like a +11 turnover differential in their P5 games. Against Duke and Wake they were even, and the only game they lost the turnover battle was BC - which they won by 2 points.

Fsu was over-ranked by a-lot and it was simple math. With their better team last year, you saw how bad they were without travis. Now you take travis and all those drafted playmakers off team. Not great hs recruiting and no significant portal pickups. This is what you got.
Quite honestly, they were the luckiest team in NCAA history to get through undefeated. I mean they flat out lucked out in every way possible. Every bounce. Every call. Every decent team having a down year. Everything went their way until the end. They were not nearly as good as their record suggested. The worst, by far, undefeated team I have ever seen going into their bowl game.
