One of the bigger lessons from yesterday’s game is one I keep begging Mario to learn:

Don’t purposely slow the game down.

GT wanted to make it a game of just a few plays. And FSU was more than willing to help them out.

By the time FSU figured out how to exploit the GT defense (throw into the safety blitz) the game was over and FSU hadn’t even run 60 plays I don’t think.

When you have a talent advantage, don’t slow the game down and limit the plays.

Fsu had no choice but to play like that they have dju..we have cam ward
 
One of our toughest games will be GT away. They beat us last year ( I'm aware of Mario's shortcomings) but their QB is awesome and I like their coach. I know we have the talent for sure but we are going to be out coached EVERYGAME and that is a factor.

Pretty sure we talked about it last year but Mario halftime interview where he talked about being "intentional" and "deliberate" was playing right into their hands.. slow the game down and our few mistakes become that much bigger because u only run Soo many plays..

U don't have to go hyper speed but pace n space for the more talented team against a team who wants to muck it up is the better option

It's a common opponent in GT. So you have the opportunity to beat them (FSU) but also, in a three way tie with FSU in any scenario, that would be important if we beat GT.
