FSU vs Georgia Tech

DJ is exactly who everyone thought he was. You could tell by the way Norvell called the game that he doesn’t fully trust that cat.

Biggest eye-opener was that GT did not look at all overmatched talent wise in that game.
Also, what does this say about their NIL program? They happily took DJU while other major prospects were uncommitted. So it’s one of two things. (1) they didn’t have the $$$ to compete with us and other teams for the big time transfer QBs and/or (2) Norvell and co genuinely thought they’d found a diamond in the rough that they could develop. Either way yikes.

FSU got a gift in the bad snap and still couldn't stop GT...very telling.
FSU got all the breaks. They had no turnovers and only one penalty. GT didn't have a lot of mistakes either, but they had a couple that cost them some points (or gave more opportunities to FSU). Yes, very telling for sure. FSU played mistake free football and still lost.

I just woke up and looked at the box score, so idea what happened really, but they also hit 52 and 59 yard FG’s. That ain’t happening on a weekly basis.

Might have been covered however during ACC weekend one of the satellite radio guys asked FSU players - "how do you feel about the tough game in Ireland?" FSU player rolled his eyes at it being a "big game". Week Zero - yes
