Shows how ridiculous the transfer rankings are. Him, Brown, Little all .90+ 4* transfer rankings. Based on very little collegiate experience.
There are 2 types of transfers and the inability to distinguish in rankings is absurd for the ratings agencies, and for coaches.

1. Group one is better than they were projected coming out of high school and move their way up the ranks in college; Ward, Martinez, Alston, Kiko, all have literally moved up the college ranks, going to increasingly better programs and making more NIL money along the way. Jared Verse as well. We have clearly targeted this type of transfer.
I would submit that this group is living off of college production to improve their status

2. Group two was highly ranked out of high school but did not win the starting job at their college and looked around for a place they can start. FSU loaded up on group two transfers.
I would submit this group is living off of high school rankings

A 4 or 5 star who plays poorly at school A is unlikely to improve at school B. Jalaen Phillips is an exception but his issue was injuries, not lack of production at UCLA.
