Not only did he go to FSU, he went to High School in Tally.

more job security for dugans at miami, the honeymoon period will be over quickly once the losses pile up and fsu will turn on that staff.
 
I don't know, Dugans was at USF with 2 years, and then bailed for the U. I'm assuming he thought the U was a better school to coach for than USF. So it boils down to how much he loves FSU, and how much they're willing to pay him. Either way, Dugans will probably get a raised one way or the other. Should be an interesting week when it comes to Dugans. We'll know in the next few days, because he's going to have to ramp up recruiting in a hurry at FSU
 
Dugans is probably the best coach on the team after Kul. Easily the best recruiter.

But if he goes, he goes.

That said, even before any of this transpired, he deserved a raise.

Pay that man.
 
I'm not scared to lose Dugan's honestly. I like him and what he has done here especially with langham but we could get a much better hire at WR coach if this happens.

The expectations are going to be sky high for FSU and the desire to win immediately will be SEC levels of delusion.

Leaving Miami and going into that situation is a huge risk for a coach, complete instability with this hire.
 
I think there's a legitimate risk. Dugans is from Tallahassee, Born and raised. If he was just a FSU alum i'd be less worried, but considering the guy literally was there from pre-school through College and then got his first coaching job there you've got to think that theyre a legitimate threat.
 
How many receiver recruits could we lose if Dugans leaves

It’s hard to turn down going home.

Hopefully job security and loyalty to Richt wins out. Taggart may just bring his WR corch, because the WR corch’s son is the top QB next year (and is also our top target).

No doubt. We just have to trust coach Richt that he'll do the right thing by either giving him a raise or hiring someone even better.

He gonna regret it if he fails. Oregon had realistic expectation and FSU fans will be demanding a championship by 3 year after going 6-6. He just put his career on suicide watch pulling a Lane Kiffin move IMO.
 
Who was the Oregon wide receiver coach? Hopefully Willie brings him along.

Gotta help a little bit that Dallas is dating Dugans daughter. **** that boy takes being a Canes ambassador and leader to another level.
