Our fanbase never learns. I warned everyone earlier this week that FSU had a much better defense than we might think, and that our D would make the FSU offense look competent, and many were still saying we were gonna blow them out.

This is what happens when orange and green shades are worn, and glaring issues are ignored.

Them running their qbs was what I was concerned about. Straight up they’re absolutely incompetent, but broken plays and qb improvising is not something our undisciplined defense excels at countering

What makes them spring is when kiko consistently takes a bad angle and gets left in the dust

Kiko is killing his draft stock by not being fundamental with routine plays

I’m not the biggest fan of Guidry, but that long run wasn’t on him. The dline just gave up

Not all Guidry’s fault, our players on defense make some really dumb decisions.

The lack of talent isn’t all his fault.

The fact that players are constantly beat in pre-snap alignment, constantly take bad angles, and can’t tackle, can only be a coaching problem.

It’s not just 1 player. It’s not 2 players. It’s up and down the defense.

And you don’t see it on offense. Which means it’s not a HC down problem. It’s a DC down problem.

He got bullied on that 4th down TD run… went right at him and he got shoved to the ground by the 3rd string TE

Not overly concerned about that - goal line stand and he’s a freshman db.
He should be out there at the beginning of the drives where he could have helped stopped drives before they get to the goal line.
