Agreed, Jimbo is not a great coach. Lucked out with Jameis. Was actually afraid that LSU would take him. They'll be stuck with jimbo for another 10 years from their 1 champ, until he gets fired ala Richt.

Agree that Jameis made him look very good. I was never high on Manuel or Ponder and am not really worried about any current QB's on their roster.

I felt Jimbo was overrated, because year in and year out, he had tremendously talented teams, and couldn't win the big one. Well lo and behold, old crablegs comes in and wins ONE for him.. but now he is gone, I wonder whats going to happen to Jimbo now. I see Miami ascendant, FSU dropping a notch, and the Gators in a quandry.

Not to mention F$U finally makes it back to a Championship game and they play one of the worst SEC Champion Defenses I have ever seen. Auburn's Defense was just plain bad. They gave that game away.
Everything fell into place for F$U that year.
 
I know they've been on a good run, but their offense under Richt is by far the best stretch they had
