FSU message boards

Who cares what the **** they think. They lost to a 3-9 GT team that even our interim coach beat by 17 and almost lost twice in a row to Al ****ing Golden. Jimbo has only had one good season because he lucked into a Heisman winning first overall pick. Every other year FSU loses to the GTs, NC States, and Wake Forests. **** them. Miami wins by at least 2 touchdowns next year.

To be fair, one does not simply "luck" into a NC, Heisman QB or no.

Gene Chizik won a national title too. Who was his QB again? Cam Newton. Is he any good? I'm wondering.

I've already addressed that, but since you mention it again...the point was that you win championships by having great coaching and an a$$ load of talent. That QB might put you over the top, but he's hardly doing it alone. FSU won with the Rapey Raperson and a ton of 5* guys. Just like the old Miami teams, they had dudes riding the pine who could start for most of their opponents. THAT'S how you win.

Sure. Still doesn't change the fact they just lost to a 3-9 team who's other two wins were against powerhouses Alcorn State and Tulane. So the original point still remains. FSU fans should worry about what the **** they're doing before throwing shade this way.

AAAAhh...that's where you're wrong my friend. They should worry about us first. Their internal problems aren't s**t compared to the problems they're going to have with Miami.

I live in Tallahassee. The honest noles will tell you they wanted Richt if JIMBO went to LSU. The dishonest ones will avoid talking about is St say he will do great recruiting.

We almost beat them twice w the worst coach ever. They shook

I'm sure FSU fans were quaking in their boots over the thought of UM hiring a 65 year old guy who hasn't coached in 5 years who had a 1-5 record against FSU in his stint at UM. Makes sense.

If it matters any, I went to law school at ND. They are worried about the hire and know that recruiting in South Florida just got a lot harder.

Seminoles seem to be pretty happy with us getting Richt. Expect us to take over the coastal but stay second fiddle to them. All seem to think they dodged a bullet with us not bringing Butch back. This is what scares me and a lot of people.

The thing is, Richt choosing to take the Miami job shows you that he's in it to win big. He wants to stick it to UGA. He could've done fine at UVA and probably a few other schools and enjoyed a high quality life. The only reason to take the Miami job when your family does not fit in down here and prefers you actually take a year off from coaching is to win big. This guy is a cane and I think he's gonna prove a lot of people wrong.

That's because Butch brings the possibility of his sick talent evaluation producing another group like the 2000 to 2003 Canes squads. They know very well that the first thing that Butch did when he went to UNC was steal Marvin Austin out from under them.

Its a possibility that doesn't come to mind when you think of Mark Richt.

This post drips with irony because Richt's strongest point is just this LMAO.

I'm also very happy that FSU kept Jumbo, the guy that has struggled to beat Al Golden the last 2 years.

Ask them again when Richt brings over John Lilly and they start killing it on the recruiting trail.

I'm at the point now, anytime I see that ugly pig avatar, I just head to the neg. smh

Yeah because fsu fans are known to be intelligent and know what the **** they are talking about

***** them. Richt was best choice

Couldn't say it better. FSU fans may be the most delusional fanbase in the country. They think the entire country is playing second fiddle to them every single year. Never met a more overconfident group.

Agreed, Jimbo is not a great coach. Lucked out with Jameis. Was actually afraid that LSU would take him. They'll be stuck with jimbo for another 10 years from their 1 champ, until he gets fired ala Richt.

Agree that Jameis made him look very good. I was never high on Manuel or Ponder and am not really worried about any current QB's on their roster.

He beat us every year, struggle or not. It's a rivalry game and he hasn't lost yet. 6 wins and 0 losses. I would say that he has our number. Happy about what?

No it isn't.

Next time open the garage door before you start the car.

. Richt has never comprised a group of savages like those Canes teams or even that UNC team that was hit with the suspension.

True story they were terrified of butch

All of my Facebook friends that are FSU fans are glad that we hired Richt.

When I asked them about Butch, they all admitted to having been nervous when they heard he might be named HC a few days ago.

TIFWIW.

I am now 100% behind Richt, but truth is they were shook at just the thought of Butch coming back.
