not sure if serious....if serious, some major revisionist history with posters on this site. Butch obviously spotted talent better than anyone back then, but no one thought he was a good in game coach when he was here.

I know a lot of folks that don't think much of Richt's game day coaching.

Catastrophic for the entire ACC.

I'd have to laugh may a$$ off just because of the uninformed idiots who don't really know who we're actually talking about.

Thing is - there wouldn't BE equal talent - Butch would always have the better players.

I don’t even know if I could watch the games.

It would be too painful.

Butch is so special to me.

U guys are some sort of dumb that keep disrespecting Butch. Y? B/c he left? U do the same chit to players that leave early.

Get a clue as to what Butch had inherited both in the locker room and what the NCAA handed out program b4 calling him “Botch.”

Learn the history of who he brought in and what dynasty we could’ve had b/c of HIS players. The only person that should be called botch is Coker b/c he took the blue print and the representation that was re-established by BUTCH and wiped his *** with it.

Hence, we’re now subjected to being grateful for having a coach who’s ceiling is 10 games, a decent bowl game here & there, and “keeping” us in the game to recruit the elite of the elite b/c of the bull chit Coker and the other two guys that came after him.

And some of you guys are still flossing your teeth with Butchs pubic hairs. I'm not a Butch hater at all, he's obviously a great talent evaluator but he made plenty of bonehead calls on gameday. We had a great team in 99 and yet he still lost to East Carolina.
 
Freckleface will be 70 in s couple years and he’s gonna go through another rebuild / turnaround ( and Tally BOT is gonna sign off on the check) ???Its gonna take a few years of recruiting to turn around the damage from these last two seasons . I’ll bet on CMR over those odds at sniffing a natty .
 
People **** on Richt for being a 10 win season coach but, Butch only won 10+ games once in his head coaching career.

I wish Butch never left, would have loved to see what if, but he did and did so for the Browns of all teams.

The Butch ship has sailed, its over.
