Well, Blake knows that's what App St does to people.

I'm sorry I am never going to let that idiotic line die. Like in Manny's head at that point in time after you struggle to beat App St. That is the line he comes up with. That is just as dumb if not dumber than Randy's "long walk" line at Duke.

Where the **** do we come up with these coaches

FSU losing today?

Nah, Michigan was ranked in the Top 5 when they lost to App State (then a FCS team). FSU wasn’t Top 40. Although, to be fair, App State was the top-ranked FCS team defending 2X FCS Champions, and didn’t win on a last-play miracle play. IIRC, they went back and forth with Michigan and blocked a last second FG to win (set up by a long ‘miracle’ pass by Michigan). Appalachian State became the first FCS team to defeat a ranked FBS team.

There was no line on the Michigan-App State game in 2007.

And speaking of betting lines, USC lost 24-23 at home to Stanford in 2007, ranked 1 or 2 in the polls, as a 41-point favorite, and a 35-game home winning streak. This was the biggest upset of all-time, based on point spread, until Howard University beat UNLV as a 45-point dog in 2017.
