I keep thinking it's 3, but always have to remind myself that USF wasn't actually supposed to be a night gamelast time we had these back to back night games was 2017? notre dame and va tech?
This. You can’t reason with people that want the rivals to win because it’s good for our schedule. More important than the Gator game was the exposure we got. We get a bad rap because our fans our seen as not very invested but if you turned on Gameday you could instantly see that’s a lie. No reason at all to give FSU the same thing just because it would be good for our SOS. It’s bigger than that.Would absolutely LOVE for uva to pull off the upset this Friday. Don't give 2 shvts about gameday being in tallahassee.
Got a friend who works for FSU security. They are expecting GameDay only thing that would change that is FSU losing and Bama beating Georgia they could go to Vandy but they have been in contact with ESPN already about everything.Gameday crew is doing their checks and due diligence with Leon County apparently so it’s pretty much done deal that Gameday will be there.
that's what we said in 2017After 21 years we finally arrived in the ACC. We had gameday up there in 2013 but we were not a top team. It was a facade Golden and No D were running. We the big dog now.
Have seen many of our games in Trailerhassee. This team will have to show that they can win on the road, in a hostile environment. Beck as never played there. I’m already getting sick just thinking about hearing their stupid war chant all night. Hope we run them out of the stadium. GO CANES.It's been a few years, but I will be back in the Doak. I didn't mind it as much when I 1st went in the late 80's. You could see through the chain link fence, through people's legs into the stadium back then. Like metal erected stands at a pop warner game. It's come a long way. Last time I was there the toilets were overflowing everywhere, literally. I am not sure the toilet problem was national news yet.
First off at UVA on a Friday night is enough of a trap then mixing in playing nobody with a pulse for three weeks ? While having your dong blown by the media ? That 2-10 is a long ways off now. Oh and a weak before hated rival comes to town ?
Couldn’t agree more. Their fans believe they’re elite and they’ve been getting blown by the media for a month, without playing anyone since at iffy Bama team. Even in that game Bama blew so may opportunities.Been saying this all week. That UVA +7 has been juiced now to -115 at some shops, wouldn't shock me at all to see it tick down to 6.5 or 6 before kickoff. This is a BAD spot for fsu.
A home dog who can score is usually a very appetizing choice. UVA is certainly that. Chandler Morris is in the Top 20 in basically every passing category right now. Reminds me a little bit of what I was talking about all last summer when looking at their schedule and I predicted Memphis to beat them. I'm not going to pretend like I knew fsu was going to be THAT awful, but Memphis had a decent team with a crazy experienced QB last year. Seth Henigan was a 4 year starter there. Now, here comes Chandler Morris, buddy will be TWENTY-FIVE years old before the end of the year. And people forget, he won the TCU job in 2022 over Max Duggan, but got hurt I think in either the first or 2nd game. Duggan took the job and ran with it, and TCU made the national final, with Duggan playing really well. But Morris beat him out to start that season.
He's really mobile too. I think he's gonna give FSU fits on Friday night, especially for the reasons you said. Lotta clowns up there walking around with their chests poked out recently. Would be a shame to get caught slippin' in rowdy Charlottesville.
