FSU -6.5 v Memphis -- are they STILL overrated?

Does anyone here follow Memphis? I don't closely enough. But based on their recent history, it feels like they have a legit shot at knocking off FSU. They ended 10-3 last year with losses to Missouri (34-27), Tulane (31-21) and SMU (38-34). They beat USF 59-50 last season and regularly put up 40+ points. And so far this season, they're 2-0 having handily beaten Troy and North Alabama.

My partly-informed prediction: Wheels Fall off and Mikey goes 0-3. ... 32 Memphis - 28 Noles

This seems like a classic game for FSU to lose.
Seeing them start 0-3 would be pure comedy.

With that said, I have no idea what will happen.. FSU has looked pretty bad. And Memphis is supposedly a pretty good G5 Team.

FSU will win and their fans, I mean writers, will claim a huge turnaround and that the trip to Ireland was the only reason they lost both games. Sounds crazy but somehow they will twist it into that. Sonnone probably already has the article written.

It's a fair number but remember 6.5 is less than a TD. Vegas is hardly bullish on the Noles. And something like a 31-24 win over an AAC team is hardly going to take the heat off them. That said they could very well lose this game.

He is, better than Haynes King and the lil fella from BC but there is a significant drop off on OL/DL with Memphis from BC/GT. Thinking Memphis slows it down and hopefully keeps it close. I didn’t have the balls to take ML.
