I could leave them out, leave the advanced metrics for itself and the point is still 100% accurate and factually based.

SOS is the dumbest imaginable way to determine the better football team. SOS doesn't take the snaps here, the players do.

I hear you...but FSU's SOS was 3x worse than any other NC. That can't just be nothing.

2013 FSU was a great team. I don't want to act like they're not or try to change your mind. I respect your opinion.

But I looked back on the 2013 season today....let's just say it was a VERY weird year

Example - FSU's Offense was historic (I agree)....but FSU only put up the 5th most points vs Auburn in 2013

Texas A&M - 41
Georgia - 38
LSU - 35
FSU - 34

There's just a lot of things I saw that made me re-think how good FSU was

I'm not arguing for either team. But I've seen multiple posts here arguing SOS. I hate ranking based SOS arguments. The only thing they do is promote brands and popularity contests.

I see, but the quality of opponent matters to an extent. We see it in the NFL greatly on a weekly basis. That's why it's being used.

The differences of opponents is a legitimate issue here. Use the teams played offensive and defensive rankings then and ignore the SOS
