The start of July gives us the briefest of windows in college athletics to reflect and recharge. But in just a few weeks’ time our campus will be buzzing with activity once again as our fall sports will be training in earnest for their season openers.

Please. Fake James absolutely wouldn't have said anything within 24 hrs of SC & UCLA moving and when he eventually did it would just be a full-throated endorsement of our current situation in the ACC.

Like I said, may God have mercy on BC. The current level of cache that their football and hoops programs have would necessitate having a top notch AD to even have a shot in this new climate.

Instead they have a top notch middle management quality yes man that is oblivious to the real world.

I loved Al Haig. A college friend of mine worked for him when we were in undergrad in DC.
