If you look at NFL rosters they are always littered with guys from small colleges, especially on the oline. It's about identifying talent and developing them. There are guys right now in the NFL from App. St. , granted not as many as say from a Clemson or Alabama but they are there so don't be so quick to knock some of these guys down. You never know.

Really boils down to effort and vision. Richt is a good man but didn't have the fire. Diaz is going balls to the wall 247 and his energy is clearly showing. But it's not just effort alone, got to sell and be passionate about your overall vision.

Plenty of posters here wanted Ken Dorsey, Ted Roof is DC, their new staff is has a lot of proven coaches. Of course I am an App State alum, but a pretty good staff for us. Best part is Drinkwitz doesn't give a lot of coach speak. Who doesn't want a coach to tell you what is going on.
