But they shouldn't be on this site... Everyone knows what message boards are all about... It's therapy for us fans especially in moments like this... If this site is going to have any weight on a recruits recruitment process than i don't know what to say... They need to worry about themselves and there teammates and future teammates... Not about us crazy fans!!!

I'm aware that this is at least partly a rhetorical question but please don't think that the posters on this website represent the majority of the fan base of the University of Miami. Sure, the majority of us are very disappointed with how things went last year but to start calling recruits out (teenagers who are 17 or 18 years old) is totally uncalled for. I'm sorry that you and your son have to experience this and am hopeful that you don't listen to the nonsense that is spewed on this website.

Probably not very good, Mr Quarterman.

But at the same time people have very legitimate grievances which the school has been repeatedly ignoring.

If they care more about money than people, then they are going to get serious blowback. That's just how it goes, sir.

Personally, I'm very happy to know that your son won't be subjected to these men. He will be coached up by real coaches, who actually know how to use and develop him. He has a bright future here...since these terrorists that occupy power currently will be liquidated in about 10 months time.

Dude, Really? So a recruit is going to look at a Canes sight and then say to himself that he doesn't want to come because people are trashing this staff? GTFOH with that! A recruit is going to feel a certain way about 6-7, our ****** defense that we continue to run, not winning games, losing! All these factors matter not the fan base! If that was the case, then Alabama should not even field a team because their fanbase is ten times as bad and they are winning right now!

[]_[] can't tell these guys anything! Even the mods join in with the bashing! If anyone would know the effect this website have on recruits and PARENTS []_[] would know!

I would think this program has a very passionate fan base who is obviously not happy with the current state of the program.

Why would a recruit care? If you want your balls stroked go somewhere else, if you want to play for the university of miami then do so.

What are there maybe 1000 users on this site? Maybe a few hundred who contribute regularly? Of those few hundred only some continue to post the same vitriol over and over with the myopic hope it will get AG fired.

Even if you look at the users here as a percentage pf fans who attend U games it is a small percentage. On top of that the U is a NATIONWIDE brand with a broad fan base.

Lastly, though the anger is tiresome the passion is not. If, and when, the U starts harnessing the talent and winning these kids who play @ Miami will be local heroes and future NFL stars who are seen on TV across the country every Saturday....and Sunday.

Oh yeah, the school is top 50 academically.

You have a point , sir, but there are individuals on this site who have played here, been season ticket holders for decades, etc. The LEGIT fans understand the travesty of what the admin has done and how poor a job Al Golden has done. We support the players, but not the staff, or the admin. It's a comedy of errors that will take place because Al is all talk. He might as well be a politician.

Fans are ****ed because we should be and Al and the admin CONTINUE to throw away winning lottery tickets because of the recruiting grounds they have access to.

Let me ask you this:
Would you be happy if you worked for a corporation who had a boardof directors and a CEO that refused to make changes to get things better...even when it's obvious things are on the downhill.

Yor son is EXTREMELY talented and every fan wants him here....we just want to see an admin and a coach who will fully develop your son's talents.

People haver thier own opinions. A recruit might see this and want to run and then you have a recruit who see this and wants to help change the program. It varies. Right now we have had alot of amazing recruit decommit and its extremely dissapointing. We have also seen this staff offer kids who should have had relationships with dating back 1 year. They get stuck on 3 or 4 recruits and stop recruting that position entirely. We are fed up.

A passionate fan base that is tired of mediocrity exist in miami...

OP sounds like Golden trying to cover up the mess that Miami has. Right now there is nothing to be proud of as a Canes fan

Not any different from going on Twitter

If a recruit is affected by social media and message board chatter, he should just stay off the internet

The site is full of morons and dunces who pose as Canes fans. They are easy to identify, all they do is whine, ***** and moan like teenage girls. Bah Wah Wah. Recruits should ignore this site completely.

The OP is 2016 commit Shaq Quatermans father and he has interacted with Golden 1 on 1. He is also stated many times his confusion himself about this staff. So as current commit fathers he knows kids come on this site.

well what should a recruit think about FSU players getting their cars keyed after having an undefeated regular season? and they think we're bad lol. this is just silly. a fan base should be passionate. and enough of this miami fans tweeting recruits stuff. those are mostly fsu and uf trolls. not difficult to either make a fake account or change your current one to make it appear you're a miami fan. if a player is serious about his future, he should commit for either whether or not he believes the program can turn him into an nfl ready player or if the school can offer academics that are conducive to a bright career.

Agree with this. FSU fans slashed their players tires after 1 loss. Does that effect them?

Also what is the board supposed to look like? Are the fans suppose to be happy that Golden has ignored SFla this year and is making the same mistakes 5 years in?
