There was a conference called the BIG EIGHT. Colorado was highly ranked in 1990 and needed a win to secure a National Championships. The officials gave them an infamous 5th down. The league was known for having officials favor ranked teams. Actually it was wise and they won a bunch. It is a mystery that the ACC doesn't favor their ranked teams, instead they keep doing the opposite. They know it is dumb because they heavily favor Duke and North Carolina in basketball. We are the most often ranked football team yet we have to beat 12 it seems every game. The SEC officiating has favored Saban teams, or at least they don't ***** them as we get screwed. The playoffs, the Championship is big bucks for a conference and by not at least being fair the ACC is looked down upon in football and losing money. SAD!

I totally agree and I thought I communicated that. The ACC needs to realize what side of the bread is buttered though.
