Frog stance is very much alive and well

Did these guys get it from us or the other way around?

Either way, and this isn't really directly at you, the guys pictured are professionals who've grown into their bodies and can focus their entire attention on complex systems. There are many reasons why certain things work in the NFL and are not suited for college football. Expecting players to maintain their gap and play contain is one of them. It also just happens to eliminate the biggest strength of most of our recruiting base: speed and athleticism.

It's not only the pros doing it. Many college teams are doing it, including teams that have speed and athleticism. So it's not so much who these teams are, point is, college teams are also doing it. Is it better? IDK. The pros seem to think it helps, I can understand why college teams piggy back off it.

This just kills me. Five pictures of guys doing something totally not the frog stance. Quick, find me a clever meme to put at the end.

anyone expecting major changes on defense, just look at that pic.

No body is even set except for #58 , I'm pretty sure you posted this so you could stare at men in tights.

Yep! Bc Coley won't shut his ***** mouth that's why!!! I actually played college ball and that looks like dudes tired of sitting in their stances while the coach runs his suck for 15 minutes in 100 degree weather with the Humidity index. I put that on Coley

Regardless of stance, that dude's in a 9-tech way out there. He's going upfield Jerome Mcdougle-style. Our DEs are often playing contain.

Exactly the point...the "frog" stance is not the issue. It's taught everywhere.

A four point stance isn't a "frog stance". A two gap stance (which I think ???) Is what you are referring to as a frog stance is different. It's look similar to squating with the weight towards the Balls of your feet, a flat back so you can stat low and drive Into the center of your blocker while keeping your head up and read your keys to flow to the ball carrier.

Aguante still hasn't explained why or how he became a Canes fan. He seems to be a bigger fan of the staff than the U.

"WE JUST NEED A 4-3 PUT THE HAND IN THE GROUND AND USE YOUR S.FL SPEED WE WILL BNE THE BEST DEFENSE #1 IF WE DO THIS BLITZ BLITZ BLITZ"

-our idiotic fanbase
Yeah, it's just our idiotic fanbase:

Miami Herald said:
### UM’s defensive scheme. Al Golden and D’Onofrio believe strongly in mixing 4-3 and 3-4 alignments. That’s a hot button issue among ex-players.

“We’re not a 3-4 team! Never have been,” former star running back Clinton Portis said. “A 4-3 is the best defense ever played. A 3-4 doesn’t fit UM.”

Former Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta agrees. “Miami has had success being a 4-3 aggressive defense in the past," Torretta said this past offseason. "I would like to see more aggressiveness from the front four. That’s what we did and we had a lot of success.”

PAST

DO you want to do everything based ont he past?

Aren't you the one who bashes Al Golden on "slow tempo" and want to do the new spread fast?

SPeak up clown.

Those past teams would beat us by 60.

Why the fvck is anybody STILL defending Golden?!?!?

I'm genuinely curious as to whether the CIS slurp squad will leave when/if Golden is finally fired. They appear to care far more about Golden and his job security than the long-term prosperity of this program. I've never seen anything like it, but they're likely all from the Hecht to try to counter our anger/negativity instead of ignoring the noise.

No Miami fan who isn't functionally braindead or a devoted admin plant would go to the lengths they do to defend every facet of his maddening ineptitude.

Nope. They'll do the same routine with the new coach. I've seen it happen for the last ten years. It's disgusting. Make no mistake, the Golden slurp squad are the SAME guys (except for the racists) who defended Shannon till the bitter end. Then they come on here and blame everythjng on Shannon and the players instead of Golden. And if the next guy sucks too, they'll repeat that BS.
