The University of Washington Huskies and Miami Hurricanes will be debuting new uniforms to honor their relationship with the military. The Hurricanes will wear the new Honor and Support uniforms on October 25th against the Stanford Cardinal, while the Huskies will wear theirs on November 15th against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The Hurricanes have a new uniform for the world to see.

No. 3 Miami has been consistent with its uniforms this season. They have worn their orange and white uniforms for all four home games this season, but they will have a new look in a few weeks against an ACC opponent.

The Hurricanes and Adidas will collaborate for their Military Appreciation Game on Oct. 25 against Stanford.

This is all from the same source. Again, I’d like a link to the actual official announcement of Miami wearing a camo alternate uniform. I don’t think you’ll be able to find one.

Please refer to post above from @fincane , who succinctly expressed the current situation. I still haven’t seen an official confirmation.

I’m not saying Miami won’t wear some alternate uniform, I’m just saying that there hasn’t been official confirmation from any specific official Miami hurricane site or spokesperson. The possibility remains that Miami will not be wearing a camo uniform or even an alternate, until and when they announce it officially.

Yes, I know that UM did not make an official announcement yet as they have in the past. I agreed with you on that from the beginning, and never claimed that they did. It probably won't be up until after the Louisville game, knowing how they usually operate.

What I did say was that there are sources that reported that an Adidas PR email went out telling us that UM is wearing these uniforms next week, and that the Miami Hurricanes social media accounts confirmed it, which they did. It's on IG on their 10/5 post. They also have the Emory video where he is talking about how he is excited about wearing it because of his family.

I'm not really sure what else y'all are looking for at this point. We will probably see the full uniform on Monday from the athletic department.

My only disagreement with your statement is that you said “the Miami hurricane social media account confirmed it“ I haven’t seen that and I just checked the IG feed for both the football account and the general Miami Hurricanes account. Have not seen it - maybe if you have a link or a screenshot. I could be wrong, just have not seen it.

I've seen the video featuring Emory. At no point does he mention his excitement about wearing the uniform. He does talk about his father and using his platform to highlight the military. Thats the video on twitter. Maybe you've seen something else. As it stands, the school itself has not confirmed they'll be wearing them and Mario/UM has stiff armed Adidas in the past. The Miami Nights uniforms for the GT Don Cheney non-fumble game were supposed to be worn the year before and they never put them on until the next season. They were unveiled before the 2022 season and weren't worn until GT 2023.

Maybe the full unveil is coming.
