I can't decide which is my favorite Strong loss this year....

50-7 to TCU
24-0 to Iowa St

Just bring back Golden instead....

hes not a good fit at texas, too much negative **** has his new class in the toilet. he wont win there because he has no texas ties and its difficult to bring a kid from sfla to play there.

to be honest hes better than chud, its all about who fits. ayway i dont want either when butch is available and herman rt after. no point in entertaining chud mario or strong when the top is heavy
 
Strong should be on our short list. Hard to win anywhere when your QBs throw for 85 yards.

You guys who act like Strong is a bum are insane.

He is simply not a good fit for Texas and I can see why he is not happy there.

I was surprised when he went there but I was glad because Miami kids dont want to go to Texas.

He absolutely should be on the short list and would be a great fit in Miami.

While he is not my first or second choice he would be my third choice with whats out there right now.

He would lock down recruiting in SFL.

I say if we cant get Kelly or Butch then he would be the next best option.

There gets a point where the failure is so egregious that it says more about the corch than the "fit". We don't need a freakin reclamation project here based off a hunch that he'd do better in Florida.

And I heard a comparison before about the type of guy required to coach at UT. The level of "nonsense" that a coach at UT has to put up with is unprecedented. Charlie Strong is not the type of guy who is going to take that extra 10 minutes to stroke some rich alum whose kid is looking for PT. Good for him that he took the money and maybe built his nest egg....now he needs to pursue the success he wants to go after. I don't know if he is the best guy for the job but Miami is doing themselves a huge disservice if they're not at least considering him.

He's not a bum but what's happening at Texas makes me really question what's going on with him.
 
Some of you just need to actually read whats going on in Austin.

Look at the roster, WATCH the games, and then try to understand what's going on.

This isnt as simple as "he lost to Iowa State BUT, he beat OU"

When you have a team where nearly all of your best players are true freshmen and/or 1st yr starters, you're going to have lots of highs and lows.

Heard is a dual threat QB thats still learning the position as a 1st year starter
Swopes, a former 5 star QB, who is a SR, is a complete bust. (You can thank Mack Brown for that)
Jonathan Gray - who was also a 5 star - bust. (Yes, you can thank Mack Brown for that, too)

I'm going to be honest: Mack Brown pretty much gave up on the program his last few years. He gave zero fux about recruiting and it's showing now.
No evaluating done whatsoever. Look at the last few classes and tell me which of them ended up being All Big 12-- Very very few

I wont even bring up how many are on NFL rosters because it's even worse...

Add in the fact that the best players on defense, Malik Jefferson and Devonte Davis (from Booker T Washington in Miami) are true freshmen -- you're going to have some lows. 2 of the top 3 WRs? True freshman. Lots of youth on this team. Texas lost a ton of Mack's sorry *** upperclassmen last year and it's showing.
