Freshmen linebackers

Our front 7 gonna be soooo good next year. Everyone returns, unless Chad goes to the NFL. I don't think he will though

Pinkney closed on a WR screen and I got Darrin Smith flashbacks. Two guys around me asked "who the f was that?"

He legitimately popped off the field on that and other plays. Short area burst for days.

Excited for the gt game. Gt is below average team but we will rely on front 7 to excel which means a lot of hard hits coming from those 3

It's actually not this straightforward. GT's scheme is better defended with some of the old, 2-gap junk we'd do. Not all, but some. Our upfield pressure will be neutralized to some degree.

I just want that game and all their cutblocks on our upfield pressure to end already.

His high school film was awesome. The last step or two when he would get to the ball, the explosiveness is just something you don't see very much.
 
Michael Pinckney is my favorite Linebacker on the team, reminds me of Sean Spence with how he is able to diagnose and attack plays.

These giys recruit speed this a sec staff so we should have a similar defense to fsu in year three. When gibson and carter bandy get here my god. Next year are holes in the secondary shoukd be way less. But all those guys can run and make the field smaller. We got safeties now who cant run at all or one does one thing well and thats it......imagine garvin animal jackson animal the triohfive (trio) can run animals, gibson amari bandy henderson edwards all of them dj johnson can all run. We should be a better defense next year at every level than with the next class we will add depth with talent that can step in and no drop off
 
Those guys are not the liability the hand-wringers thought they'd be. In fact, Pinckney looked like a complete animal yesterday. He was all over the cotdam place. Love his energy and enthusiasm too.

Mike Smith is a guy who is surprising the **** out of me. He looks pretty competent out there after coming here as a pure pass rushing DE. That's a tough transition and he's doing it pretty well.

Steed is going to add to the beast factor at LB. He is quit a bit more athletic than the gurus made him out to be.
