What is the nature of Chase Smiths injury? Poor kid has been constantly hurt since he got here. [BGCOLOR=initial]Completely agree regarding Keontra being overtaken by Popo/Bryant.[/BGCOLOR]

This team is NOT going to QUIT!!! The upperclassmen are not going to allow it & the youngsters ABSOLUTELY will not allow this to happen! This isn’t *****’s team anymore!

Not sure haven’t kept up with him since he hasn’t played or done anything since getting on campus

If that's the case (and it is), then shouldn't they be taking snaps by the 3rd quarter of game 1?

I expect all the true freshmen to get their kicks. Not sure who will be the best but you’re probably right that Popo is most developed so leads the pack.

Best part about all this is what it does to push the upperclassmen like Keontra, JW and Chase Smith. Keontra in specific looked slower and softer last year and I hope/believe he’s corrected that now. But if he hasn’t, he knows his job is up for grabs.

Love the way Popo plays ball. Smart, good instincts & sure tackler that just drills opponents. Could be another in a long line of greats to have played LB at the U. Will be rooting hard for him to ball out.
