Freakin Corey Heatherman….

This guy has head coach written all over him. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he installs now that he has had a year and most importantly the majority of that 2025 defense is back including a loaded defensive line and a loaded secondary. Linebacker may not be loaded per se but there is a lot of young talent led by an 8th year senior(Mo Toure) and a 5th or 6th year guy in Chase Smith. I'm most interested to see if he installs Cover 3 Match and other match principles in general.

I think he sticks around. I say we get 5+yrs.

Go Canes!

Not every assistant wants to be a HC. Especially in the NIL era. Relax...
You think that maniac with that drive and that energy is going to settle for one and a half to $2 million a year when he can make eight or more and give his family generational wealth without trying first I think you’re completely off your rocker

+ it’s not like he sought out being a DC. He became a DC because it was his first opportunity to climb the ladder. This is someone that want to be a HC. But I see both him and Dawson trying to go NFL coordinator routes first.

Bet the cardinals are gonna poach him next year, they steal everyone from us.

Mario needs to treat Heatherman like Dabo treated Venables. Like Dabo and Venables or not, (which I dont) those defenses at Clemson were star studded and near elite the years he was there.
That or he could be our “Bud Foster”… but if I had to put money on it we lose both coordinators at the end of the season.

Maybe Mario then makes JT the DC and he brings his ex-brother in law Zach Thomas to coach LBs and we tear **** up…. A man can dream can’t he?

Guys like Kirby, Muschamp and Venables did it the right way. They didn't jump at mid tier schools. If Heatherman puts in his time, he's getting a top P4 program to come calling.

Mario attracts talent in all aspects, he has a tremendous sense in putting pieces together in baring fruit years forward.

Look at this team, there may be no weaknesses tremendous depth.
1-2 and some 3rd team players there’s no drop off of talent.

Geeee wiz , the whole RB room wanted to stay and all could start elsewhere plus be NFL ready my goodness .

This is a 12-0 NC team to win it all

DARN TOOTEN that good

Every other year there were always rumors about Foster bolting to an SEC school, and every other year he got his contract generously upgraded. He was never going anywhere and I read he had personal reasons regarding a family member. What he did was rare as most successful coordinators are looking for next job.

How long did Saban have Kirby?
How long did Dabo have Venables?
We have money and now clout.

I heard he may have had an issue with the bottle. No idea if it’s true, but that was the rumor.
Either way Heatherman is clearly insane so that may work in our favor 🤣🤣
