If I had to guess it's because his face is BLACK!! That's the whole purpose of this thread. Why else would you call Franklin a Douchebag for no apparrent reason? There had to be at least 100 white coaches that lost yesterday but where's the threads about them?

The last 7 minutes of that game are regrettable.

Penn State was up by 12 and had control. The coaches did nothing to help that defense or tempo and that 4th down call was atrocious. It's like the staff paralyzed themselves on offense and simply hoped someone on D would make a play. It didn't happen.

Guess I need to stay away from my family and friends today. It'll be another deluded *taint dominated - recollection. Thanks Franklin. I was hoping to see faces today.

Nothing wrong with what he said to him. He was respectful in the way he said it also. Could you imagine if he was the coach at Alabama and this happened??

Don't start with the race stuff.... Go to any thread about the Louisville game and you'll see people calling Petrino all sorts of crap as well. Same as the Gator tears thread where Mullen gets made fun of. We bash Urban Liar to death...I mean were you even on here during the Golden years of how many threads there were about him and NoD??

So he made some decisions most wouldn't have made and it didn't work out and they lost to one of the top teams by 1 point. Doesn't make him a bad coach. Every good coach can look back on a decision and say WTF was I thinking.

He took over a situation similar to Butch and has made great progress. For some reason some on this board forget that.

I HATE PSU BUT give the guy credit He has turned PSU back into a force. You can't do that if you can't coach.
