Frank Ladson is he

That would be big. CB recruiting is looking up but we need a veteran in that room to bridge the development. TS can look better in a real defense that doesn't leave the middle of the field wide open every play.
That's why DBs go to bama the front seven. We will have that same thing and sfla elite dbs will want to play in front of that. No more Saban plucking who he wants.

I feel that Brinson would be that next year. I prefer Wease but with us starting 2 new WRs next year, I can see Ladson being a good contributor if healthy. Maybe I’m just excited to see Brinson and George’s jump as Sophomore, but let’s stack chips.
Plus you have to remember that we have the WR from Alabama that hasn't seen the field in 2+ years....so he will definitely be a transfer portal candidate, and also Redding is a stud in the classroom who likely graduates in 3yrs, so 2022 if he doesn't see the field, his mission at UM accomplished per his degree in Marine Biology...he could wind up as a transfer casualty as well if he doesn't earn significant playing time in 2022

So it makes sense to take two guys at WR in the portal and take at least 2 true freshman in recruiting. Can't be where we don't have the numbers at WR to run our OFF in practice.

I'm not really totally on board with these SFL kids that spurn the U and then when it doesn't work out elsewhere they wanna come home.
I think this is true IF we have legitimate coaching. But, who can blame a guy if he sees Pope out there and knows he is trash but is still playing…

Aye got to be honest....if he was what they evaluated he would be in the games.
Don’t you know it’s never the player? Anybody on the bench is always amazing but the coaches don’t know what they’re doing/play favorites.

If her were a DE/LB I’d say give him a shot, we have room. At WR? Pass.
