Frank Gore starting for Jets

Purest running back these eyes have ever seen live. I didn't get to watch Payton, Sanders, or Tomlinson live.

I’ve watched a lot of football in my life but still to this day the quickest back through a hole that I’ve ever seen is Frank Gore his true freshman year.

That’s what I think is the most incredible thing about his whole career. If he never hurts his knees, he’s a 5x better back. Imagine being better than the 5th leading rusher ever. He was absolutely shot out of a cannon pre-ACLs, blows both knees out and becomes a downhill bowling ball power back with feet befit of a middleweight. And rides that path to this incredible career. Just remarkable.

In a few years he can carpool to work with his son.

Love Frank Gore to death but this has to be the last season. Two repaired knees and in a couple of years he might need a walker.

Two surgically repaired knees and still the GOAT. The universe knew that Frank with healthy knees was just too unfair.
Exactly! I was just gonna post this till I saw yours. People forget about the two major knee injuries in college. The guy heals like wolverine, it’s like he’s a freakin mutant! Unfortunately that first knee injury cost us the 2002 NC as we really fell off on the ground when Mcgahee went down when we were really starting to wear down that OSU defense and run all over them. Payton just didn’t have the talent to keep it going but if frank was healthy we would have blown them out in the second half even with mcgahee going down.

I still remember watching him play at Coral Gables high school. To this day the best running back I've ever seen come out of Dade County. To overcome everything he's fought through is something to be proud of.

# 3 All Time, #1 Active. Look at the company he keeps.
