He knew how to speak prior to junior year but it was what we call “broken English.” Everyones first language in Samoa is Samoan lmao. English is second. Even with that its “broken” like i said. Even i have problems when i go days on speaking Samoan only then try to speak English and its sounds “broken” for a bit.

"Absolutely not" is mind blowing to say.

Francis lacks arm length against the top 30 pass rushers in the NFL. Yet, he matches up with the strength of any nose-tackle and the speed of any interior pass rusher.

Chris Lindstrom(guard) of the Falcons is currently playing on a 5 year 102Mil deal.

If Francis was a free agent in the NFL right now, he would demand a 7 year 150Mil deal WHILE playing guard.

It's not. That's the case for some years now. The league has shifted where more pass rushers are available vs tackles and it's not just quantity, it's quality.

Lol, okay, I had no idea you had a tape measure and measured him yourself.

Plus, arm length is by quite some margin the most overrated and useless metric for tackles.

Well, it's good that it is May of the previous year and that the anonymous scouts can continue to debate whilst Mauigoa ends his career at LT with an All-American, ending that debate.

Unless these scouts want to be fired. They can continue to yap, if that pleases them.

  • I also expect plenty to change between now and next April (or really even this fall). Fourteen players I had in last year's way-too-early mock ended up going in Round 1 -- I actually had Will Campbell to the Patriots in the top five! -- but 13 were taken later in the draft and five went back to school.

Literally the only thing that is going to be relevant to whether Mauigoa is viewed as a Guard instead of a Tackle in the Pre-draft process next March-May will be his arm length. That is all. If he has long arms, he will unquestionably be a Tackle without any debate at all.
