Four-Star Miami DL Target David Folorunsho Sets Commitment Date

Four-star (Chicago, IL) defensive lineman David Folorunsho has set his commitment date for May 15, he told On3 Wednesday afternoon.

David is also down to five schools including the Hurricanes. Along with Mario Cristobal's Hurricanes, Georgia, Michigan, Texas Tech, and Notre Dame all made the cut for the 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman.

David is rated as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 43 best player in the country, the No. 3 best defensive lineman in his class, and the 2nd-best player in the state of Illinois.

David visited Miami two weeks ago while also having several visits coming up, including one to Missouri and Indiana.

Miami currently has a total of eight commitment in the 2027 class highlighted by Hurricanes quarterback commit Israel Abrams, and five-star wide receiver Nick Lennear.
