One of the reasons that the transfer portal (for players that did not use their 1 time exemption) are a great value.

If they become great for you, they have little likelihood of transferring again for more NIL.

I could have sworn it was 1 free transfer and then the second time you would sit one year out
 
Is this the Twilight Zone? What are yall talking about? LOL. This thread went from him not starting, to him not starting because hes injured, to him sucking (PAUSE), to him not sucking (PAUSE), to him being better than any WR on our roster, to him entering the portal, to him entering the portal but not being eligible until next season even if he did....Can the season get here any sooner? You guys are really going off the ledge.

This kid is not transferring to UM. Never will. If he was, he would have done it this past offseason when we were desperate for WR help and when Saban basically brought in 2 new WRs because he said his WR room was not good and not up to his standards. Let this go please.

Hold up, I thought your claim was that no WR on UM's roster would be drafted. Correct me if I'm wrong, bc thats the way it read.

Idk where the 20 catch standard came from but Restrepo, Smith and Ladson all have more than 20 career catches.

Also, did you miss the part where scouts were praising Restrepo in practices? Hes for sure getting drafted. K. Smith is likely getting drafted also.

if 5 star Frank Ladson -- a big tall fast guy who can't really do anything except run in a straight line -- can walk onto campus and be a day 1 starter on the outside I'm sure 5 star Jacorey Brooks would do just fine here

Rambo was wr 2/3 at ou and in the dog house for dropping passes
And he walks in and becomes wr 1 and goes on to break records
Jermaine Johnson didn’t start at uga and he dominated
Our rosters are not comparable
We have maybe 5-6 guys that would start at bama and that’s me being a homer and stretching it

The difference in the players you named is they weren't actively replaced. If OU had went out and got a WR to replace Rambo or UGA had went after a DE to replace Johnson it'd be comparable. They were just naturally behind guys on the depth chart.

I’m just saying
He’s done more in live action than most of our guys
Has better physical tools Than most our guys
If u take that junco from upstate ny no reason u don’t take a guy like this

Pretty safe to say X will be a 4th-5th round type. KSmith won't get drafted based on his current trajectory. He has a long way to go before he exits the "UFA" tag. Same for all the other WRs.
