Former 5-star QB Blake Barnett transferring from Bama

Said the Cali QB's are primadonnas who parents send them to so called QB guru's and have been entitled all their football lives. Wants everything given to them, no willing to compete.

Kaaya also? Lmao, he's earned everything with this team.

He was 6-6 as a freshman with 7 NFL ready players on the roster. Highly debatable that he was the one who deserved to be the QB. Many think he was given the job by Golden so that he could buy himself another year and continue to rob this program of more money.

Do you honestly think Heaps would have done better? If Jake couldn't separate himself from a true freshman then it would make sense to go with Kaaya.

Why the **** are all you retards talking about Jake Heaps, do you guys follow this program? Ryan Williams was the senior leader of the team and was taken out by Al Golden. We had a 6-6 record that year. All because we needed to get Kaaya the experience to lose to FSU 3 years in a row.

This.. even Kayaa high school coach was surprised he started freshman year

The players don't decide who starts. Williams was hurt to start the year. He might have been capable of starting in week 7 or 8, but why would if we do that when Kaaya was playing decently well.

Also, we did poorly that year primarily because of the defense.

Thanks for pulling random **** out of your ***. Williams was cleared by the Nebraska game.

Right we went 6-6 because of the defense. You must be part of the UM administration that believed that **** and gave Golden another year.

By many you mean you, and you only. Literally no one has ever expressed the ridiculous conspiracy theory.

Um, who are you and why are you claiming like you are the most frequent poster on here?

I'm just a guy who follows UM football. I made no claim other than the fact that it didn't make much sense to start Heaps at all. The fact that someone actually thinks this was some conspiracy by Golden to hold on for another year is just laughable. If there was anything that gave Golden another year it was that is buyout was pretty expensive at the time.

Well you must not follow that closely if you didn't know that Feliciano and many of the players believed this to be true. Well with Williams anyway. Don't know why you're continuing to talk about Heaps.

Why would any coach start Ryan Williams over kaaya. Their play was nearly identical and one is a true freshman who needs valuable experience the other was a redshirt senior who was no clear improvement over kaaya (who was playing very well at the time)

Golden didn't do that to save his job he did that because anyone in their right mind would do the same

What's the point of experience when you bench the experienced guy?

What's the point of experience when he's still making freshman plays against FSU?

What's the point of experience when we are still not a championship football program?

Listening to former players the play wasn't identical. They thought RW was clearly better, and their last year was ruined by starting a true Fr

Ryan Williams sat the bench his whole career at miami

Judging by your response it's clear you just hate kaaya and twisting the narrative to fit that...

Remember we were talking about then and the decision to keep kaaya in over Williams. Not now about fsu

And everyone throws interceptions so Idk the hate on kaaya? Terrible throw the end zone 100% agree with you. Matt Ryan led the nation in interceptions if I remember correctly before going to the falcons is he a terrible qb too?
We had 4 wr drops and a terrible decision that cost us the game. He'll be here for a year and a half so get over it

He has to be better but he's head and shoulders over any other qb in our roster so stop *****ing and support the team for once

Thanks. Completely forgot that. Helps our point even more.

I'm not even a big kaaya guy but I'm defending him against the stupidity on this board.

These idiots need to watch the game and realize the kid is the best thing we've had in years

they remember the third quarter interception but forget the two perfect touchdown passes. He did his job to tie the fsu game, this loss isn't on kaaya.

LOL at this stupid argument. Not a huge Kaaya fan but getting ****ed that the previous regime started him over Ryan ******* Williams and Jake Heaps is beyond idiotic and serves no purpose.

I don't understand it either. Kaaya has his flaws but Williams had an excruciatingly slow release with no zip on his passes.....Ryan would have gotten eaten alive behind our Oline.

I'm mainly defending Brad supposedly being a self entitled prick like some accused him of.

Ok, superfan, how about YOU start supporting the team and stop being such a Kaaya fan boy.

Not sure why some of you are so dense as to only think that someone who criticizes a tenative QB who still makes errant throws as "hating". I want Kaaya to do well because I want us to win. Kaaya has looked much better this season, particularly on 3rd downs. He still gets rattled and he still makes rookie mistakes. So tell me, superfan, supporter of any and all players at all costs, what good was going 6-6 in 2014 to have THIS kind of experience?

Right because going 6-6 in 2014 and allowing Al Golden on campus for another year didn't set the program back another 3-4 years.

Na, I call it like I see it. Plenty of players deserve crap for their play. Mark Walton not showing up in games against legit competition, Tyre st Louis costing us the fsu game, terrible coverage by our safeties.

Being reasonable doesn't make me a 'superfan'. Posters on here are hoping kaaya leaves next year and praying he isn't our quarterback like he's some time of scrub.

Who's better on our roster? Who would be an improvement over kaaya this year or next? Nobody. so people can quit the *****ing

We all want Joe Montana to be our quarterback but midway through a season that doesn't seem like a legit possibility, so let's roll with who we got and understand that we're fortunate to have him. We have some studs coming in the next few years anyways

You aren't reasonable, you are pre-packaged and predictable. I want Kaaya to stay for his senior year because I think experience and leadership are vital to a successful program. You're probably confused right now because you haven't even been reading what I'm saying.

Williams would have gone 2-10 with Golden and Coley coaching him....don't know what film you watched of him but he sucked ***. Numbers don't lie but fans trying to glorify a backup scrub will.

1-11, lmao..
