It's Year 4 of the Cristobal Era. We're entering the season as a Top Ten team. We've signed the best class in the conference three years in the row. We just produced the #1 pick in the NFL Draft, and we have the #1 player in America committed.

It's Year 4 of the Cristobal Era. We still haven't made an ACC Championship game. The whole nation laughed at us when we forgot to kneel the ball. We just lost the Pop Tart Bowl. We didn't sign a Top 10 class last year, and we don't have a Top 10 class this year.

All of that stuff is true at the same time. Now we've hit a fork in the road. Are we getting over the hump, or are we spinning in circles? This will be the most consequential season since 2000.

Well said. What’s the alternative if we don’t at least reach the ACCCG? Cristobal ain’t going nowhere.

ND doesn't really mean anything blah blah blah.

We come out and dominate, it's a statement that sets the tone. We don't, and it feels like we're going nowhere fast.
Don’t forget ND lost to NIU at home and made it to the Natty. ND is ranked above us and by all accounts will be a very good team again. It’s not the end of the world but would be a huge blow nonetheless. We will really see how tough the team is regardless and will have a full schedule infront of us. A loss to them isn’t going to be the end of the world. A win and we have a lot of confidence to build on.

We play in a few weeks.. We play on sunday primetime, only game in entire football world. EVERYONE will be watching. No High school games, No CFB games, No NFL games. Definitely a chance to make a statement.

If the Lord is just and fair, we get over the hump and continue to ascend.

If not...

I don’t care about an opening statement. This would be bigger than the uf game last year but they made a statement last year. Went on the road and smacked uf. Remember everybody was saying miami looks like a possible contender and blah blah. Make the statement late in the season. Make it in November and December. Get to the acccg and the playoff
