I love all of these futbol gurus out there. Lets ignore the fact that Bandy, Dean, A Carter, D Smith all logged serious minutes yesterday and that passing stat line came out like it did.

Also can we get some props to that CB coach of ours? I mean if MJ28 isn't playing off the wall (that's for you [MENTION=2]DMoney[/MENTION]) and becoming a real good CB then people are not paying attention and Malik is doing what we thought he would do all year. We are starting to get some superb corner play against different styles of offense.

Also no matter how many times we're told we're not a dominant team we expect world beating domination. Like CMR said that doesn't mean we can't win every game, but lets put some real expectations on this thing game in and game out.
 
So here I am rewatching the game as the OP suggests.

Dungey is completely lost, bewildered, and dumbfounded one week after shredding the almighty Brett Venables.

Limit big plays and scores in the redzone. This is how Diaz accomplishes the first part of that.

The game was beautifully called. Keep it simple against a fast paced team - play 1 high man under. We saw nickel and dime packages all night.

I don't think we tried to cover them out of our base 4-3 once. Diaz is legit.

Winning always brings out the best in our trolls.

While this thread may be complete garbage, it's actually a good sign that we're really headed for something special this season.

Most people are generally miserable and looking for reason to bytch. We've been suffering forever. We're finally playing good football after 13 years of **** and winning and relevant in November, and most of the threads on here are nitpicking facquitry from guys who hold the team to much higher standards than they hold themselves.

LOL @ this thread. Yeah he's playing him that far back because he's not fast nor quick. You just cannot make this stuff up.

You he looked pretty sluggish when he ballhawked that INT from across the field in single high coverage
 
Who are these dumbass we call fans? I was at the game. Having the safety deep means the CBs can play really aggressive on those short dink and dunk routes Syracuse like to run. They threw 43 passes and completed 13 to their guys. Charlie strong plays much of the same coverage. You don't want Syracuse completing 5,6,7 yard passes. They will just do it over and over and kill you're defense with tempo. I'm slightly annoyed with our run defense but giving up 18 points a game I can't really complain.
