For those who want manny gone

Fake Blake has to go, any, lazy HC search + we could have had Davis or Mullen
Do you remember that when Mullen interviewed the reports started to come out that we was a complete arrogant prick in them? Many of us looked down on his arrogance but now looking back, it appears the dude saw potential in our program but knew what a complete **** show it was and that nobody around it had any clue what they were doing.

Have you ever thought that if they get rid of manny , Enos would probably get the hc job

Think about it, based on past examples that would be the likeliest hire

Makes you go dammmmmm...
at least he wouldnt play JW. All signs point to Diaz wanting a game manager and thats why we have JW as our starting QB. Unreal that we didnt start Tathan or Perry

There was also a rumor once upon a time that Miami had a deal in principle with Jon Gruden but he walked because he insisted on hiring his brother (who ended up a NFL head coach for 6 years). Who knows how true it is, although it would be hilariously ironic if Miami taking a firm stance on nepotism cost us Gruden.

highly doubtful ... well documented that Gruden never wanted to coach college football again after being an NFL coach

There were a lot of reports from many different sources that Miami and Gruden were talking.

Weird that he would apologize and have a face to face meeting with Kirby Hocutt if he had zero interest in being a college coach. A guy normally doesn't meet face to face with an AD to say he has zero interest. Seems like something you'd do by phone or through an agent.

Yeah I truly believe that there was mutual interest between both parties but then after Miami sent parameters of a deal and also denied Jon hiring his brother, he saw that the program was in fact ran by amateurs.

No. You have to have ties to miami. So it would come down to rumph and schiano.

Schiano would tell us to fvck off as he takes the Rutgers job. With Rumph we would be getting out recruited by Bethune Cookman. We would have D3 levels of talent. If Miami Dade has a football team they would be landing kids we were going after.

There was too much smoke for too long for it to be to completely fabricated. At the time Miami was less than a decade removed from having the best team in the history of college football. I agree that Gruden was probably surprised at how little the school was offering and saying his brother wasn't welcome is something I could very much see the admin doing.

not sure on that comment , remember he interviewed twice finishing second to Richt, and i believe Golden
could be wrong on timing but am sure he discussed job twice with officials at Miami.
if in fact its a -hit show were toast......
