I know. Some people are unbelievably illogical. Reminds me of people I've worked with before who get an impression about an employee and that's how they always see them (for good or bad) regardless of what they do. That is the DNA makeup of these Mario haters.

Don't you realize how tough and aggressive Oregon's defensive played. Even the turnover on the return from the fumbled punt, two Oregon players were in position to block the punt. Both fumbles and the interception were due solid hits Oregon earned at least 3 of the 4 turnovers

I can't find you anyone on this site that think Manny is a good coach, let alone BETTER than Mario Cristobol. The only concern is, would he be as successful in Miami as he is in Oregon. Compare Oregon's records to Miami's over the last 13 years and get back to me as to which program is better.

I just like the idea of having a different coach. If Mario is only way Manny could be gone this year then I am all for it
 
I would prefer a coach that does more with less, like a Matt Campbell. While Mario might be an upgrade over Manny, he reminds me of a Richt type, good enough to win games, but not good enough to win championships.

I don't know if we could get him, but I would look at somebody like Matt Campbell. Names like that. Try to identify the next Campbell/Rhule/Fleck.

I mean, PJ Fleck just put up a ridiculous season at ******* Minnesota.

Somebody who's shown he can build a program and do more with less.

Unless we're willing to spend like a powerhouse program, Wario isn't the answer.

Happy for Mario as an ex Cane, but he did not show me any killer instinct Coaching, after a turnover fest.
Entertaining, but we have major probs facing our Canes, needing major fixes across the boards, that Mario may not want to build or restructure
Long term rebuild for us, short term continuity for him with the Ducks.
