For those absolving Mario and the staff...

His first year as HC at Oregon, with a "bare cupboard" from Taggart and Helfrich and no portal, MC went 9-4. The year after that he went 12-2, with a Rose Bowl win.
Oregon had just been to the playoffs not even 5 years before

Miami has won 10 games once in 20 years lol

Sorry you living in some delusional world that this was some “quick fix”

i said nothing about a quick fix. just giving a ref to mc's first couple yrs in eugene.

If only day was the coach when Purdue beat them…but yes Ohio state got out coached that day. Do you know what an exception is?
they also went 13-1 and youre right. I forgot, Urban was the coach and day coached the last 3 games I think lol. day lost 4 times since he took over lol. yeah ill take that.

Ryan day has won more than any coach we've had in the last 20 years and has led OSU to the playoffs and a title game. I think having a random loss here and there is completely fine. its not like Purdue is Middle Tennessee. also, you want to hate on Ryan day for losing to prudue by 4 scores in 2018? they went 13-1 and won their bowl against Washington that year. yeah 13-1. good job with that comparison. I thought Marios best win in his career was at the shoe last year. I was hoping wed see more of that early on esp against a pathetic schedule we have so far. we haven't exactly faced a single good team and plenty of weak ones where we could even talk ourselves into being good
Day is a good HC, but as Harbaugh said, Day ‘woke up on third base and thought he hit a triple’. Didn’t have to build anything, but credit for keeping Tressell and Meyer’s program running.

if you really want to see how much coaching matters in college football, look at the year Fickel was interim coach there. He had 7 losses in 2011 surrounded by 20 years of 0,1 or 2 loss seasons, both before and after

That's Weird...because Lashlee used him in goaline situation several times last year.

Parrish and Knighton are listed a the same weight. We use Parrish in short yardage situation all the time.

Nice.

Noticed some good blocking, holes to run through. Where is that this season?

We did see another wheel route against UNC….that’s a start.

the entire offense is nonchalant. they proved that against atm. they dont run quick. also, it wasn't a good timeout bc we burned the entire play clock looking at the sidelines. it was a boneheaded timeout in a spot where they had plenty of time to check with me and get the correct call down there. anyways its done
The ‘look at me’ sideline glance before every play kills me. Hate it.

Line up.
Clap Hands.
Stop.
Spend 5-15 seconds waiting for a play…which I presume comes from Gattis in the booth to Ponce on the sidelin, to TVD.

GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
