I just don't care at this point. Team's a dumpster fire...Ross is like the nerd who got picked on his entire high school career, and now surrounds himself with splashy big names to assuage his massive ego. He did re-do the stadium, and it is pretty nice, but, on the field, decisions, he's a complete idiot. Every year, its the same thing...
1. Big names are signed! Fins are dominating the offseason! Every move not only puts them over the top, but puts them leaps and bounds above everyone else. Wallace, Ellerbe, Suh, Albert, etc., etc.
2. Team starts and finishes ******, with a few "close calls" that could be construed as moral victories, in between.
3. New coach is hired, wears out welcome, has head called for, and is fired. Philbin should have stuck to PowerPoints, Cameron to playing Ned Flanders on TV, Sparano to fist pumps. Now we've got Gase, and while he seems decent enough, also could be that flavor of the week that we're so prone to chasing in the offseason. The new coach is hired, given a honeymoon of a year or two, can't cut it, and the cycle repeats itself...
Stifler sucks at QB. He puts up good stats, but only when the games really don't count. When the pressure's on, he folds like a cheap tent on Mt. Everest. They'll stick with him because they invested a 1st rounder in him and have given him a giant extension (for what reason, I'll never know). He's had a ****** offensive line, sure, but he also makes decisions on the field that make DannyBoyCane look like Nikola Tesla...Stifler is not a great QB, nor is he really a "good" QB. The team should be drafting a QB every year, just to use as trade bait, or maybe overtake Stifler at the QB position.
The front office is managed by baboons high on roofies and Red Bull. They let Miller walk this year, and there's no back up plan for what to do. He's doing great in Houston, and we're stuck with a guy who has bad knees and is better suited to playing soccer in Europe. It seems like they just manage to throw enough ***** at the wall to see what sticks. It's nothing new though, it's been going on for years and years. Different FOs, same results.
Things will never change. They'll remain a mediocre team chasing big names in the offseason from now until eternity. I used to live and die by the team, but I just don't care anymore. When they figure out new ways to lose, I can't help but laugh or shrug my shoulders.
