I don't know what they have but if you're looking for another good heavy stout the Goose Island Bourbon County ones are definitely crazy good. If they have The Last Buffalo in the Park that's my favorite from our local Funky Buddha brewery down here.

If you're looking for a killer IPA Cigar City Florida Man is what you're looking for. It's by far my favorite widely available (in Florida at least) IPA outside of small local breweries.

I did some work for Wicked Weed Brewing and they hooked me up.. if you like this you should try Wicked Weeds Cherry Key lime burst (I think that’s what it’s called) it is **** good if you can find it

I always wonder how many of the great local breweries would have survived if society had not succumbed to mass marketing and let them know they would pay $10 for a six pack. At one time PA had more than 300 breweries.

Not for whisky purist but this was surprisingly good. I hate 99.9% of flavored **** but this was subtle. Splash of lime and its almost an irish mule.

Lol. I drink porters, stouts, pilsners, ales, IPAs, etc in Germany, Ireland, Japan, Canada, and Belgium.

I used to own a brewery and I've tried it all and given in to the current generation to make some money - turns out.. there's lots of different stuff that can be good. Being innovative and giving in to try all different types also made me over a quarter million $ in 21 months..

The manliest manly men like you afraid to drink something that tastes good.

Brewing a good home IPA is very tricky. Most of the brews I've made get better with age. The issue is, a good IPA needs to be drank while fresh. I think I'm going to stop using the 60 min bittering additions of hops and start dumping more in the whirlpool stage to see if that helps.

Ive tried everything and couldnt get them how I wanted. I get tired of IPA very fast too so having 5-10 gallons of it isnt good for me anyways lol. Ive messed with water, additions, dry hopping, everything. I even c02 transfer into the keg.

Yuengling Lager. When you're from Northeast PA you either drink it or you get made fun of. They just came out with a hersheys chocolate version & its the best beer I've ever drank.

Before COVID destroyed 2020, the plan was to fly up for the MSU game and make it a beer and football trip. Some phenomenal breweries all over the state. I'd love to make it all the way up to Traverse City.

Highly recommend....Just ridiculous...

See if they have the Expedition Stout or anniversary stout from Bell's. Those will set you right. Some great beer in Central Florida though... Angry Chair, 7th Sun, Cycle.

I hear you. Do you have a good local supplier? That's one of the other issues I have. There aren't any local homebrew shops in South Florida and it's hard to tell how fresh or what the quality of the stuff you're ordering online is going to be.

Also what is/was your go to yeast for IPA? I'm thinking of trying some kviek strains that way I don't have to worry as much about trying to keep temps between 60-70 degrees.

Ive thought about the supply issue but I order most my stuff from morebeer and they go through a lot of inventory. Ive used most of the cali ale yeast and some lager yearst in my ipa's and always get a dull hop character. None of the fruitiness that I'm aiming for. I made a glycol chiller so I don't have a problem with temp control either. I just buy a sixer of jai alai now when I need my ipa fix lol

Some. Not as much as I'd like to. It is a lot of fun and I love doing it. I do 5 gallon batches and bottling is a *****. I think 2021 is going to be the year of a homemade kegerator.

Keezer > Kegerator, IMO.
Some very solid plans available online for a 2 to 4 tap system using multiple pony kegs and with extra storage space for rotating homebrews.

Urban Brewers is pretty decent in Miami. Good dudes. That's about it, though.

Goose Bourbon County is aged for 1 yr in Bourbon Barrels so its on a different level than the Bells Cherry Stout. Florida Man is a DIPA that is phenomenal, Jai Alai is easily a top 5 IPA in the market based on price point. Belle's does make good beer, I'm not knocking them, little overrated IMO. Jai Alai is every bit as good (better IMO) than 2 hearted. Keep drinking fellas!

Type of hops can make a big difference there, too. The newer hops tend more towards fruit characteristics. I like the citra/mosaic/el dorado combo for that profile.

100% agree Jai Alai is better but until recently wasn't as available as Bell's. Cigar City is a top notch brewery and one of my personal favorites.
