Joe: Coach, the Defense is playing so much better. Did you make changes or are you running the same stuff?

Folden: We're executing better.

Folden can't even admit that Changes were made to the Defense, not necessarily scheme, but how you allow players to execute the scheme. It is F*cking easier to Execute when your DBs and LBs are not so far back that they are spotted in Boca Raton. The players had it (Aggression) in them from day one. Better late than never.....I guess.

I am not gonna knock Folden today. But Gee Wiz, I just wish he would stop calling Canes Fans and Former Players Stupid.


We will see if the new found aggression continues against FSU.

He won't admit it cuz den he has to fire Dorito which he doesn't wanna do. He's trying to save dat mans job.
 
Anyone with a brain can see there were changes. I dont understand why people are hung up on him admitting it. Who cares

You really expect the man to admit he was wrong for 4 years?

Nobody in their right mind will self incriminate themselves. He changed A LOT of stuff on D.

It might be a combination of both, better execution and alignments, but I don't think they would magically make the adjustment in one week. Anyone who saw the Georgia-Florida game saw what we've been seeing with Miami for three years. Playing soft, letting the offense dictate the play sucks to watch.

He sure did.

Keep calling it even if FSU starts blasting our ***. It's just one L. You don't get 2 Ls. You have to practice/play how you want to PLAY.

FSU replaced a lot on D, but they are still playing the same aggressive style. You better get them now. Next year, FSU's D is gonna be really good.

We are losing a lot after this year. The Heart of The D is leaving which is major. Last thing I want to see is the return of the Bend But Don't Break D.

Great Coaches admit the adjustments ALL THE TIME. Reason: IT MAKES THEM APPEAR SMART.

So, let's have an X's and O's discussion. You're going to tell me he doesn't blitz Perryman or Bush or blitz the corners off the edge? What exactly are we doing differently from a scheme perspective? We're not standing McCord up? We do appear to be tackling much, much better. We're also communicating much better as well. And Grace is getting more and more reps. Perryman has really picked up his game the last two weeks. So much so he is a legitimate Butkus candidate. Bush is picking up his game and he has been terrific the last two weeks.
