Agreed, although I think the hiatus he was referring to was when Gino stepped away from coaching and then came back in like 2013, or somewhere around there.

He returned during 2012 and we were back in Omaha during 2015 and 2016. For me Omaha is the key. In 2013, they won 37 games, improved to 44 games and then had two 50 win seasons.

The freshman on this year's team are the best "class" in the country. UM will add two aces for 2020 and the 2021 class is top-2 in the country.

Di Mare proved this year that he can coach.
