Florida State -LSU Game Thread

LSU fell victim to backyard ball and with all the mistakes they made fell too far behind. FSU then could use the whole playbook and became unpredictable. Key is to jump on them early and never let your foot off their throats.
Exactly. LSU had multiple opportunities to take control of the game in the first half but left 17-21 pts on the table due to laughably bad playcalling and poor play. After that FSU found their footing and LSU collapsed.

Travis is that good. He’s a unicorn that’s propelling a program. He’s a sixth year guy that transferred from Louisville, was a bum , booed by fans , volunteered to change positions then worked his *** off to be what he is now. Props for that but it’s over after he’s gone. He’s turned himself into a special college player
Genuinely impressed how far he's come since crawling on the field after Jalen drank his milkshake.

He can't match Travis. Once a play is broken Travis uses his legs to be creative, with TVD it's a sack 100% of the time. We need to invest in mobile QB's period

We don't need a mobile QB... we need a QB that gets the ball to the receivers. Our OL can hold its own.

Daniel’s is a good QB who has a ton of experience.
They still have players that are better than 80% of teams they face
I’m pretty confident they are prob a 9 win team
Not a 5-6 win team
Time will tell
Yes time will tell, but as of now good is the last term I’d use to describe them.

I saw a bunch of peacocking slurpers last night doing the same ****. I didn’t see your outrage in that thread, I saw you upvoting it. Please… you’re not an un-objective observer in the least bin this divide.
I'm absolutely 100% un-objective. But I don't pro-actively troll my fellow Canes fans on CIS, incessantly, day after day, thread after thread; especially in a ******* FSU gameday thread.

Their front 7 is legit and that can help cover up their weakness some
I think we match up better on the outside than LSU does. We can deploy Richard's and Brown for the two giraffes on the outside. Bell will require special attention. Our Dline is going to need help trying to contain FSU's run game.

FSU is a solid team.
But as I posted earlier, that staff and the state of that program is on a downward spiral.
If you don’t believe it watch the rest of their season.

The problem with this win from a Miami standpoint is recruiting.
A lot of kids still see lsu as the Joey Burrow squad and by their young eyes fsu just embarrassed a giant.
Interesting. Thanks for spilling.

More likely the opposite. FSU is not as good as people are crowning them. LSU is not the pile of dog**** they looked like.

It's what a swing of momentum can do in a game.
It’s also week 1, which is usually full of fan hyperbole built off mostly undeserved hype combined with teams figuring out what they really are and what they have.

I agree
Tvd will likely be reason we lose the games we lose this year. He needs to be a lot better Sat than he was if we are to beat A&M
