Florida ready to block Miami entry into SEC

Anyone ever considered the idea that we have some deep-cover sleeper cell porsters who registered years ago and rarely post, but come out to spread negativity in the times of greatest uncertainty?
The amount of imbeciles popping up, repetitive thoughts/posts and matter of factness is really something in these recent threads man.

It might be the half dozen beers sloshing around in me, but I suddenly want the SEC. I want FU to publicly state their aversion to playing us. They dropped the series and let's see them complain that they'll have to play us every year.

And no, they can't ever have the war canoe back. It's ours because they forfeited it when they wussed out.

ESPN knows Fox/Big 10 about to go ham. ESPN/SEC isn’t going to sit back and do nothing. Miami and Clemson are coming. Gators are powerless and karma about to hit them in the face. No better time to join the SEC and compete.

IF we're going anywhere, my choice would be for us to go to the B1G.

I'm also positive that in this game of musical chairs we won't be someone left without a date

Frankly, the thought of us in the SEC leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. Miami was always a force fit to the Southern profile. Far too many snowbirds, immigrants and interregional transplants here.

Miami's aura has always been more Big-Time and International than Southern. PA , NJ & NY have long considered Miami the most Southern City of their states judging by airline flights.

Our following has a very strong nationwide base. IF it is about ratings and it is , nationwide Miami vs. any B1G team + USC and UCLA has far more nationwide audience appeal than Miami vs. SEC teams excluding Bama or UGA.

For Me, it's a no brainer. The B1G is a far better option for the remaining conferences and especially for the Canes

Miami's aura is Caribbean and Latin. Too bad there is no All-Caribbean football league that fits the "Miami culture" you all seem to want, so we'll have to settle for the SEC.

The only way I would even consider the Big 10 if I were Miami is if they guaranteed that we would never have to play an away game. 100% of our conference games would have to be in Miami. They can come to Florida and recruit. We're not traveling to snowy *** Indiana in the winter. That would be the deal.

LA is a bigger market and not even close obviously, but miami would be their second largest media market in the conference if miami were to join.

interestingly enough, Miami FTL is the third largest behind Tampa and Orlando in the state.
Miami is the 16th DMA in the country. Tampa 11 and Orlando 18.

Have you not been following recruiting? Mario already deep in there.
I meant as being in the same conference. Kinda like an ex who’s a psycho, who ends up working at the same place as the ex bf/gf…
