Florida High School football is the culprit

This is severely wrong.

Florida is likely the oldest population in the country.(football status)..and TEXAS, CALIFORNIA, GEORGIA are all in the back end of the 50 states.

Incorrect and I'm not going to go into too much detail.

20 percent over 65 in FL compared to 14 percent in FL. 13 and 12 in Georgia and Texas.

California has a massive Hispanic population, 15. 38 million to FL's 5.46 mil. Texas has 11.29 Hispanics.

Average age is 42 to 37 FL to Cali. FL is the 6th oldest, Georgia is also 37. Texas is 35.

I stand by what I said. Aged out or uninterested is a component.

Did you just say that california have a massive hispanic population?.

My friend...there are numerous cities that you would barely hear english in south florida and the signs on the roads are in spanish.

Mexicans play football. California # is only up because their population # is huge. Just simply type in florida oldest state in google and you would get your answer.

The florida football rankings are even more skewed with the huge immigration population and always known as one of the elderly states in the country.

Seems you just want to argue. I gave you various stats that absolutely support what I said prior.

Cali has 3x the Hispanic population. Texas 2 times. I even gave you the elderly stats, what the percentage of the states are.

P.s. I grew up in S. FL so I'm well aware of the demographics.

You should probably read back what I said.

I dont see where your getting your info from though i posted mines.

By Total: California has the highest number of seniors in the U.S. with a total of 5,148,448 residents ages 65 and older. But that is likely because California also has the highest population out of the states.
Im
Cali and Texas have huge mexican populations.........MEXICANS Play Football....even in Mexico. I just have never heard of those 2 states being considered elderly states...either way it doesnt matter as football in florida has gapped that of what takes place in california....and texas is probably more so a competitor year to year with us. But even they are skewed as they have wayyyy more colleges playing football than we do...which leads to more players available to be drafted to the nfl or going div 1, 2, 3 , etc

There are seven FBS programs in Florida. Here are the votes received in this week's AP poll:

FSU 1
UF 0
UM 0
UCF 0
USF 0
FAU 0
FIU 0

So with all the "talent" we supposedly have at our disposal, seven FBS programs received one 25th-place vote, combined. Even the second-tier schools can't beat schools that also get their states' leftovers.

There is a reason why guys like Jimbo, Urban, and Dan Mullen bailed on programs that have all the resources in the world. And there is also a reason why big-name coaches want no part of these programs. Florida high school "talent" is built only on measurables. It doesn't understand work ethic or desire. And the Florida kid, especially the south Florida kid, is all about getting paid and making highlight videos.
This is an idiotic post, top players in the nfl and college are from Florida , the things is most of the top Florida kids are going to bama , Georgia , lsu etc , Miami central beat img this year……. A public school beat a team full of college ready players, it’s definitely not Florida kids fault that these programs suck let’s name a few Florida highs school players Miami missed out on , Lamar Jackson , dalvin cook , Derrick Henry, amari cooper , teddy bridgewater, jerry jeudy, Pat surtain , James cook and that’s just a few guys off the top of my head recently

Mexicans aren't playing football in large numbers. Certainly not in Mexico, where it's a very fringe sport and with baseball, slightly more common in the north.

Regardless, my point was that a large portion of each state has demographics that negate from the amount of kids likely to play a particular sport. I'm not denying there's an elderly presence in FL, but there's a huge Hispanic presence in those two other big states. They also have an elderly age demographic as well and as you noted, more. There's a reason certain states certain sports are a big thing and others not so much.

The amount of colleges in a state doesn't matter so much IMO as if you've got the talent, someone will find you as you aren't playing exclusively in that state. We have far more players drafted on out of state schools than in state.

Florida produces, no question. If you're going to say it's even more impressive because of its elderly population, that's countered by other factors in other states.
