Gators RBI single after a double, 1-0
RBI Triple, 2-0
RBI Double, 3-0
RBI single, 4-0

RBI Double for Fieger, 4-1

HR Dale Carey, 4-2
LMAO. David Thompson takes a routine sac bunt and throws it into the bullpen.
RBI Groundout 5-2
We strike the guy out but throw it into right field for another gift run, 6-2

That'll do it for me. Got better things to do than watch D-1 players who can't throw a baseball.

****, This is exactly what i was hoping didn't happen today. These kids are just sitting on these fast balls. Tough to watch

ANOTHER error by corner infielder! Fieger costs us 3 runs in the first.

Tough hard hit, one hop tweener went right under his glove. Good first baseman turns 2 and gets us out of the inning.

Big RBI double by Fieger to get one back in bottom half.

Suarez not much of a breaking ball and needs to pitch down in the zone.

Thompson sails a bunt over Fieger's head and Kennedy lets a DROP THIRD STRIKE throw sail over Fieger's head.

Unbelievable.

It's amazing how fundamentally sound florida is compared to us. Minimum errors laying down bunts. Just killing us with small ball all weekend

Huh? They bunted into a DP today and have had some shaky defense as well. Not as atrocious as ours, but they're far from fundamentally sound.

They have layed down probably 7 beautiful bunts this weekend. The double play bunt was fluke the kid was protecting his face. Bottom line is when i see we hit a ground ball in the infield i expect the gators to make the play. Us on the other hand I get a knot in my stomach just like when morris used to throw the ball on satirdays

do they not practice fielding in practice?

As much as I've been on Morris and staff, this isn't something you can pin on preparation. Thompson literally had to throw the ball 75 feet. Ten thousand high school juniors made that same throw Friday night with no problem. Thompson can work on getting his head out of his ***. Same with his swing. Hitting 8 mile high pop ups in a weekend aren't erased with one or two hits. Take a deep breath, big guy, and quit trying to be the hero on every play.

How did the Carey AB end? My ESPN3 went to ****.

Three run homer, but the third base umpire claims he called time right before the pitch. Morris was ejected, Carey refused to come back to the plate, so they called him out. Umpires needed a police escort to get out.

No, it did not end that way. 6-4 with runners on 1st & 2nd. Righty on the mound. Laz Rivera on deck - Zunica hidden on bench. 3 took his sweet old time pulling Rivera for our double super secret weapon, Zunica, which allowed OSullivan to get a lefty warmed up. He never should have had enough time to do that but 3 took his time at the plate with the Ump. Sebastian Diaz was put in & he hit a shot 1/8 inch foul - if that makes it through we score both runs. Diaz ended up striking out & Carey came up & down.

OSullivan did have one of his pitchers sail one past our resident clown's head (Willie Abreau). Abreau actually stood less than 2 feet from the batters box leaning on the bat with it on his foot while Florida's pitcher was trying to get warmed up - he's lucky the kid didnt put one in his gut right there. Hopefully that will tone his antics down. He also has to stop tagging the first base bag on his way out to the outfield - almost hit Fieger's heel while Fieger was fielding a ball.

You can go back to the gator site now.
